INTRODUCTION
[1] To be a
moral person, and live a moral life, which is the route to love and respect in
human relations and peace, joy and happiness in our affairs, a person must
follow the instructions in this treatise. [2] In putting the instructions into
practical application, it will be found they must first become aware that they
enact the immoral acts, often out of blind habit, [3] then catch themselves
enacting them, [4] and finally come to succeed in not following through on
them, [5] such that they eventually come to catch themselves thinking of acting
in the immoral way and immediately banish the thought, [6] until the very thought
ceases to enter the consciousness altogether; [7] this is to achieve
exemplarship.
CHAPTER 1: Jealousy
[1] To
defeat the sin of jealousy, which is the fear of losing out on love, you must:
[2] refrain from finding fault with others, and always focusing on their
negative side and what they're doing wrong; [3] refrain from bribing others
with favors and gifts in an effort to win a place their heart; [4] refrain from
insincerely flattering others in an attempt to win their love and esteem; [5]
refrain from accusing others of being disloyal based on suspicion and no
evidence; [6] refrain from thwarting others in their search for love by putting
stumbling blocks in their path; [7] refrain from gossiping and talking
destructively of others behind their backs; [8] refrain from stalking, spying
and snooping; [9] refrain from devaluing a competitor to make yourself look
more desirable.
CHAPTER 2: Envy
[1] To defeat the sin of envy, which is the fear of missing out on prosperity and recognition, you must: [2] refrain from criticizing others to tear them down; [3] refrain from seeking to discredit others and their doctrines, when they violate no one's right and freedoms; [4] refrain from sabotaging others efforts to find prosperity and recognition in life; [5] refrain from doubting others and using discouraging words that oppose their noble desires; [6] refrain from competing with others in unfriendly competition, to prove your superiority over them.
CHAPTER 3: Intolerance
[1] To defeat the sin of intolerance, which is the fear of
losing liberty, you must: [2] refrain from judging and condemning others based
on their beliefs or lifestyle, where no one's rights and freedoms were violated
or revoked; [3] refrain from bullying others and pushing them around because
their beliefs or lifestyles differ when they don't violate or revoke anyone's
rights and freedoms; [4] refrain from shaming and humiliating others for their
faults and mistakes; [5] refrain from mocking others for their faults and
mistakes; [6] refrain from censoring others and killing the liberty of speech;
[7] refrain from vilifying those who disagree with you, when they violate no
one’s rights and freedoms; [8] refrain from shunning others for their differing
beliefs or lifestyles, or for their faults or mistakes; [9] refrain from
fear-mongering.
CHAPTER 4: Lust
[1] To
defeat the sin of lust, which is the desire to indulgence in unholy pleasure, you
must: [2] refrain from fornicating; [3] refrain from committing adultery; [4] refrain
from seducing others into committing adultery; [5] refrain from masturbating to
anyone not your spouse; [6] refrain from ogling anyone not your spouse; [7]
refrain from groping anyone not your spouse; [8] refrain from flirting with
anyone not your spouse.
CHAPTER 5: Greed
[1] To defeat
the sin of greed, which is the desire to get more than we deserve, you must:
[2] refrain from leeching off the fruits of others efforts; [3] refrain from
performing as little service as possible for as much compensation as can be
obtained; [4] refrain from cheating others out of their fair share; [5] refrain
from gambling money on games of chance and luck; [6] refrain from stealing that
which does not belong to you; [7] refrain from enslaving others and profiting
without giving them an equivalent compensation for the service they’ve rendered.
CHAPTER 6: Self-Righteousness
[1] To
defeat the sin of self-righteousness, which is the desire to exercise power and
control over others lives, you must: [2] refrain from seeking to reform others
from opposing beliefs or lifestyles, where no one's rights or freedom are
violated or revoked; [3] refrain from refuting and arguing with others over
differences in beliefs or lifestyles, so long as no one’s rights and freedoms
are being violated or revoked; [4] refrain from virtue-signalling and calling
attention to your acts of righteousness or charity for the purpose of
furthering your reputation; [5] refrain from chastising others for their faults
and mistakes.
CHAPTER 7: Anger
[1] To
defeat the sin of anger, which is a response to being offended or injured, you
must: [2] refrain from cussing and swearing; [3] refrain from exploding into
rages; [4] refrain from threatening to punish others in some way; [5]
refrain from destroying others’ property;
[6] refrain from name-calling and hurling insults at others;
[7] refrain from scolding others [8] refrain from reviling others for their
offenses against you.
CHAPTER 8: Revenge
[1] To
defeat the sin of revenge, which is the desire to repay evil for evil, or the
perception of it, you must: [2] refrain from spiting others by harming yourself
to hurt them; [3] refrain from assaulting others and causing them injury; [4]
refrain from snitching on others and bringing grief into their relations and
affairs; [5] refrain from berating others for injuring you.
CHAPTER 9: Hatred
[1] To defeat the sin of hatred, which is to harbor ill-will and contempt for others, you must: [2] refrain from holding grudges against others for past or present wrongs, or the perception of them; [3] refrain from abhorring others because they have different religious, political or economic perspectives, or due to a difference of racial inheritance, or because of their sex.
CHAPTER 10: Conceit
[1] To
defeat the sin of conceit, which is a love for ourselves and a desire to be
superior to others, you must: [2] refrain from bragging about yourself, your
possessions, abilities, connections or achievements; [3] refrain from flaunting
your assets, whether wealth or beauty; [4] refrain from gloating over others
for having a lesser station than you, or because of their adversities or
defeats; [5] refrain from seeking personal glory by defeating adversaries; [6]
refrain from ordering others around without their consent or cooperation; [7]
refrain from belittling others; [8] refrain from taunting others.
CHAPTER 11: Intellectual Vanity
[1] To
defeat the sin of intellectual vanity, which is a love for our intellect and a
desire to be smarter than others, you must: [2] refrain from preaching at
others without first gaining their consent; [3] refrain from trying to convert others
to your beliefs or lifestyle when their ears are unwilling; [4] refrain from
refuting others doctrines to prove them wrong, and yourself right; [5] refrain
from explaining things to others like they’re dumb; [6] refrain from scoffing
at others for their faults and mistakes; [7] refrain from giving others advice
and counsel they never asked you for; [8] refrain from psychoanalyzing others as
if you are the expert on them; [9] refrain from correcting others errors
without their consent.
CHAPTER 12: Fear
[1] To defeat the sin of fear, which is to submit to our doubts; you must: [2] refrain from apologizing, for fear of a loss of approval; [3] refrain from avoiding the association of anyone, including those who may be causing you grief; [4] refrain from giving evasive answers to direct questions; [5] refrain from cautioning others who take risks in the pursuit of happiness; [6] refrain from coddling others in their plights; [7] refrain from stuttering, stammering, mumbling, or muttering.
CHAPTER 13: Selfishness
[1] To
defeat the sin of selfishness, which is to place our interests above those of
others, you must: [2] refrain from trolling others just to provoke responses in
them; [3] refrain from blathering on without noticing if the listener is receptive;
[4] refrain from hording all you can get and seeking after more than can be put
to constructive use; [5] refrain from breaking your promises; [6] refrain from
threatening blackmail to reveal damaging information about others for personal
gain.
CHAPTER 14: Self-Pity
[1] To
defeat the sin of self-pity, which is to perceive ourselves as victims unjustly
treated, you must: [2] refrain from complaining and grumbling about your
undesirable circumstances; [3] refrain from blaming others for any undesirable
circumstances; [4] refrain from guilt-tripping others into abiding by your
wishes; [5] refrain from meddling in others’ relations and affairs.
CHAPTER 15: Deceit
[1] To
defeat the sin of deceit, which is the desire to keep others blinded by
ignorance, you must: [2] refrain from lying to others, and concealing the truth;
[3] refrain from slandering others to damage their reputations untruthfully; [4]
refrain from framing others to make them look guilty of something they’re not;
[5] refrain from practicing cowardice and assaulting others outside their
awareness; [6] refrain from plagiarizing others work and passing it off
as your own; [7] refrain from catfishing others into believing your identity is
something different than it is; [8] refrain from gaslighting others and trying
to convince them they’re guilty of something they’re not.
CHAPTER 16: Disloyalty
[1] To
defeat the sin of disloyalty, which is to lack self-respect and honor, you
must: [2] refrain from betraying the long-term commitments you’ve made to
others; [3] refrain from stabbing others in the back and betraying their trust.
CHAPTER 17: Impatience
[1] To
defeat the sin of impatience, which is to think only of results without giving
our attention to the means by which they may be attained, you must: [2] refrain
from interrupting others, except when clarification is necessary; [3] refrain
from pestering others; [4] refrain from interrogating others by bombarding them
with question after question; [5] refrain from nagging others to do what you
want.
CHAPTER 18: Mercilessness
[1] To
defeat the sin of mercilessness, which is to kill off the conscience and a
sense of fairness and justice, you must: [2] refrain from persecuting others by
inflicting unjust treatment on them; [3] refrain from depriving others of the
needs of their body, mind and soul; [4] refrain from imprisoning others and
revoking their liberty unless they pose a threat to others; [5] refrain from
inflicting a greater punishment for a lesser crime.
CHAPTER 19: Cruelty
[1] To defeat the sin of cruelty, which is the sadistic desire to see others
suffer physical pain, you must: [2] refrain from torturing others; [3]
refrain from mutilating others; [4] refrain from raping others; [5] refrain
from murdering others.
CONCLUSION
[1] There
should be no denial, excuses, justifications or the use of scapegoats for enacting
these behaviors. [2] That’s to be irresponsible and suffer a lifelong sentence
to the practice of immorality, and thus condemnation from God and man. [3] The
person who reaches a stage in their development whereby they consistently apply
these instructions to their life as a matter of habit with little error, [4]
they will have become an exemplar of the moral law, and their soul will reach a
balance and then a credit under the moral order; and these are the citizens of
the kingdom of God.
